Fear Of The Dentist (Dentophobia)
Sitting in a dentist's chair is one the things that scare patients the most. You can have a healthy mouth and teeth with routine dentist examinations once in every 6 months. Dental caries, which can be treated with a small filling, is postponed due to fear of the dentist which can lead to long-term or more costly problems to treat in the future.
Dental treatments can be completed comfortably for the patient with the variety of dental treatment methods such as local anesthesia, general anesthesia and sedation anesthesia.
We Perform Your Dental Treatments While You Sleep
In Oral and Dental Health Center, we perform oral and dental treatments while patients are under general anesthesia to prevent pain, anxiety and fear that our patients may experience during the examination.
In sedation anesthesia medication is given intravenously by a general anesthesia specialist (anesthesiologists) to anesthetize the patient and unlike general anesthesia, the patient can breathe himself/herself. All dental treatments that a patient needs can be performed with sedation and general anesthesia. Anesthesia can be easily administered to children and adults. With sedation and general anesthesia, problems found in the mouth and teeth can be treated in one session.
To Whom Can Dental Treatment With Anesthesia Be Administered?
We perform this treatment method in our full-fledged operating rooms in our Oral and Dental Health Center for children, adults, healthy individuals and patients with intellectual or physical disabilities, patients who have dentist phobia and trypanophobia (needle phobia), who want to complete long operations in one session, and those who cannot undergo dental treatments due to nausea, vomiting and gagging reflex.
Since procedures to be performed will not be painful with regular checkups, your dental phobia (fear of the dentist) can be solved in a brief time. The procedures performed in a peaceful clinic environment will relax you psychologically.
